Franchise → Owner Mapping
How mapping works
- If every season under a franchise belongs to the same person, pick them from the main dropdown — all years map at once.
- If ownership changed hands, expand the row with the chevron and assign each year individually. The main dropdown then reads Multiple owners.
- Franchises are identified by their ESPN team id, so renaming a team never breaks the mapping.

League Relationships
What a relationship is
- A named link between two people — a rivalry, a trade partnership, whatever the league cares about. It belongs to the league, not to one season.
- Pairs are keyed on the person, so a team rename or a franchise change never breaks them.
- The Schedule Creator reads these: set a week's type to Rivalry and every rival pair is placed in that week automatically.
Types
Rivalry is built in and cannot be removed — the Schedule Creator depends on it. Add your own for anything else you want to schedule around.

Who can change settings
Commissioners
- Give a manager an email address, a starting password and the Commissioner role — they can then sign in and edit settings. Tell them the password yourself; there is no confirmation email.
- Owner can do everything a commissioner can, and can also change these roles.
- Leave the password blank when changing someone's role — it only needs a value for a new person, or to reset one.
- Email addresses and passwords are stored outside the published site and never appear on any page.

Saving already applies your changes
- When you are signed in, Save commits for the whole league — nothing here is required.
- Use this tab to keep a copy, move settings to another browser, or edit
data/league_overrides.jsonby hand.
Draft order
Record a sealed draft order
- Seal a draw in League Tools, copy the link, and paste it below.
- It is recorded when you Save, like everything else on this page — and then shows on the Draft page and replays from its own link.
